Securities - Gifts of appreciated securities may offer substantial tax advantages. These include forgiveness of the tax on capital gain, and an income-tax charitable deduction for the fair market value of the securities.

Annual Gifts
Contribute an unrestricted gift to fulfill the greatest community need or you may specify that your gift be directed to meet capital or operating needs at Aspen Valley Hospital. You may also direct your gift to exclusively support community health and human services or to support the Foundation's special Medical, Dental, Prescription Fund, or Scholarship Funds.

Bequests - By remembering Aspen Valley Medical Foundation with a bequest in your will, you can have a significant impact on the health care of future generations. Your bequest may have estate tax planning benefits as well.
Legacy Gifts
A gift that establishes a lasting legacy includes wills and bequests, excess retirement funds, and life insurance. Foundation representatives will be pleased to assist you in reviewing the options.
Property – Aspen Valley Medical Foundation will also consider accepting gifts of retirement assets, real property, life insurance policies, and tangible personal property. Contact us for more information.
Pledges – Multi-year pledges may be made for restricted or unrestricted gifts. Reminders will be sent to donors as indicated.
Donor Advised Funds - If you have established a Donor Advised Fund through another organization (e.g., Community Foundation, investment firm) you may recommend the award of a grant to Aspen Valley Medical Foundation.
