Who We Are
A message from the President & CEO
The Aspen Valley Medical Foundation has a long history of philanthropy in our community.
For thirty-six years we have been at the table around important issues and have provided leadership and funds to meet community health needs.
We are not just passive/reactive funders. We are fully engaged and proactive in assessing needs and then finding the resources and means to meet those needs.
Our interests and commitments are diverse within the framework of health and human service and include hospice services, new medical technology, mental health challenges, senior housing options, education for health care professionals, wellness clinics, and outreach health services, as well as issues such as homelessness, poverty, and substance abuse.
We seek to positively impact the lives of people in our valley regardless of their economic or social status.
We approach people in need with dignity, respect and compassion through our grantmaking, assistance and scholarship programs, and fundraising.
